ROAD TRIP FOR NATURE

Romania

A film by : Cosmin Dumitrache și Dan Dinu
Producers: NTD, Propark;
Financed by the USA Embassy in Bucharest
Duration: 52 minute

Viewers will discover how nature protection was born in the United States and what we can learn from their experience in this field.

Dan Dinu and Cosmin Dumitrache started in 2017  an unique project, which would tell the story of some of the most spectacular national parks in the United States, with the help of a documentary film and a photography exhibition.

Beyond this aspect, the project comes with information about how these parks are protected, about the problems faced by those who operate them and about how they promote and manage them. All this information is meant to help our protected areas, and those who manage it to find in the film ideas of good practices, useful tips for solving problems or simply a little inspiration to add value in the fight for nature conservation in Romania.

In more than 40 days spent  in the field, gathered in two rounds, no less than 11 American national parks were visited.

The film is the first feature-length documentary made by the NTD (Nature & Travel Documentaries) team and is part of the Road Trip 4 Nature project, made with Propark and funded by the US Embassy in Bucharest.
